Kazi Iqbal Hassan

Kazi Iqbal Hassan PhD is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in hydraulic modeling and river basin management. Currently serving as a Team Leader at Royal HaskoningDHV since October 2020, Kazi leads projects funded by the World Bank, including the Assam Integrated River Basin Management Program and the Seven Basin Sediment Transport Study. Previously, Kazi held significant roles at organizations such as RMSI, CEGIS, and DHI, contributing to disaster resilience efforts, capacity building in mathematical modeling, and integrated water resource management. Kazi's educational background includes a Doctorate in Civil Engineering from the University of Glasgow, complemented by multiple master's degrees in related fields from prestigious institutions. Kazi's expertise encompasses hydrological modeling, sediment transport, and climate-resilient infrastructure development.
