Royal Holloway Students' Union

Royal Holloway Students' Union is an ambitious organisation that has students at the heart of our aims: to improve their education, make campus fun, look after their wellbeing, make them more employable, and ultimately empower them to change the world around them. All of this feeds into our overall mission of making student life better at Royal Holloway. With a permanent staff team of 50 and approximately 450 student staff members, we're one of the largest employers on campus and offer a range of services for students. Led by four elected sabbatical officers, we're here to represent student views and lobby for changes to improve student life. We promote students’ academic interests via our 400+ elected academic reps and offer free, confidential and impartial advice through our Advice Centre. On top of that, we deliver a dedicated events programme through our Venues team and our Give It A Go programme. We also run a pub (The Packhorse), a bar/restaurant (Tommy's Kitchen) two nightclubs (Medicine and the Union Venue) and an on-campus shop (the Union Shop). Oh, and we also support over 110 clubs and societies to make sure there is something for everyone to get involved with outside of their studies. As a not-for-profit charity, all of our revenue is reinvested back into student services at Royal Holloway.
