At Royal Holloway, University of London, Mel held roles as Head of IT Commercial Management and Contracts, and Senior Category Manager - IT, focusing on technology market strategy and digital transformation. Prior experience includes working as a Procurement Category Specialist at UK Power Networks, managing IT and telecom procurement, and serving as Supplier and Purchasing Manager at Energy Developments (UK) Limited, where procurement best practices were implemented to achieve substantial savings.
