Michael Jenkins is a seasoned music therapist with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Currently serving as a Senior II Music Therapist at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability since July 2018, Michael previously held the position of Music Therapist at The Raphael Hospital and returned to the Royal Hospital as a Senior II Music Therapist prior to that. Michael's background includes roles as an Activities Therapist at Strathearn Court Care Home and as a Teaching Assistant in Music at Rabat American School. Notably, Michael developed a music therapy program for the national children's hospital of Morocco and collaborated on a culturally-sensitive program for Palestinian child refugees through Musicians Without Borders. Michael holds a Master of Arts in Music Therapy from the University of Limerick and a Bachelor of Music in Music Composition from Shenandoah University.
