Benny Mestemaker

Benny Mestemaker is a Senior Specialist in R&D at Royal IHC, having been with the company since September 2009, where responsibilities include fundamental research and immediate problem-solving in the field of maritime engineering. Previously, Benny held roles as a Senior Research Engineer and a Graduate Student at MTI Holland, completing a master's thesis on engine and pump speed decoupling. Additionally, Benny serves as Chairman of CIMAC NMA The Netherlands, an organization founded in 2014 to represent the Dutch interests within the International Council on Combustion Engines. Benny has a strong academic background, holding a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Windesheim. Previous experience includes a board member position at Masterdispuut Vulcanus and a graduate internship at Van Heck BV.
