Gijsbert van der Vlist

Gijsbert van der Vlist has extensive experience in the engineering and production sectors, currently holding the position of Staff Specialist at Royal IHC since February 2007. In this role, Gijsbert is responsible for resource planning and supports the engineering department by designing tools and KPI dashboards. Previously, Gijsbert served as a Department Planner, where resource planning and workload insights were a focus, and as a Production Planner/Engineer, coordinating production activities and managing logistics. Gijsbert's career began as a CNC Machine Operator and CAD-CAM Programmer, specializing in heavy equipment for dredging and offshore industries. Before Royal IHC, Gijsbert worked as a CNC Machine Operator at L + C Schoonhoven B.V., managing various metalworking tasks. Gijsbert holds an MBO degree in All Round CNC-Machine Operation from Albeda College and continued education at NCOI Opleidingen from 2017 to 2021.
