Tijmen Malschaert has extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Tijmen started their career as a Naval Architect at Damen Shipyards Group in 1999, working in the Research & Development Department for two years. In 2001, they moved to Royal IHC and worked as a Naval Architect in the Engineering Department. Tijmen later transitioned to the Design & Estimating Department, where they worked until 2014. During this time, they held various positions such as Product Manager for IHC Easydredge and Product Manager for Standard Hopper Dredgers. In 2018, Tijmen became the Head of the Standard Hopper Dredgers Product Group at Royal IHC, where they remained until 2021. Tijmen is currently serving as the Head of Design for both Custom and Standard Hopper Dredgers at Royal IHC.
