Denise M. Cappello has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several industries. Denise M. is currently serving as the Executive Vice President at Royal Jewelers, a position they have held since February 2019. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Continuous Improvement at Royal Jewelers from August 2015 to February 2019.
Before joining Royal Jewelers, Denise worked in various consulting and contract positions from 2013 to 2015. Denise M. supervised a staff of 18, identified and solved technical/design problems, and maintained quality standards while ensuring timely shipment of products.
Denise M. also worked at Sallie Mae Servicing Corporation from 1994 to 1997 as a Default Prevention Analyst. In this role, they counseled delinquent borrowers, developed payment plans to prevent loan default, and received the Platinum Sallie Award twice for outstanding achievement in recovering delinquent funds.
Denise's early work experience includes roles at Xerox Imaging Systems, Inc. from 1988 to 1994. Denise M. served as a Senior Product Manager, Product Manager, and Financial Analyst in the Product Management department. Denise M. managed the next generation of Kurzweil Reading Machine products, drove planning and coordinated efforts across functional departments, and successfully launched multiple products and enhancements in different languages.
Denise M. Cappello has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Simmons University. Denise M. also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Music Education from Emmanuel College. In addition, they have a diploma in Jewelry Making and Repair from North Bennet Street School.
Denise has obtained several certifications, including the APICS CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) in May 2013 and the APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) in February 2013, both from APICS. Denise M. is also a candidate for the S&OP Certificate from APICS and has completed 5 of the required 12 credit hours. Furthermore, Denise holds a Certificate of Completion in Lean Manufacturing Training from the Greater Boston Manufacturing Partnership, which they obtained in 2005.
