Rob Wheeler

Rob Wheeler is an experienced procurement professional with a significant background in managing complex sourcing and supply chain strategies. Currently serving as Senior Procurement Manager at Royal Mail since February 2009, Rob oversees vehicle fleet requirements with an annual spend of £150m - £200m while driving savings through effective contract and supplier relationship management. Previously, as Global Commodity Leader at Rolls-Royce from 1998 to January 2009, Rob managed a £300m annual spend and developed strategic relationships with key suppliers to enhance competitiveness. Rob's experience includes roles such as Commodity Buyer, Commodity Cost Leader, and Programme Manager within Rolls-Royce, as well as foundational training as a Graduate Trainee. Academically, Rob holds a Master of Science in Project Management from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering from the University of the West of England.
