Tim Hyde has extensive experience in the logistics and maritime sectors, having worked at Royal Mail since June 1988 in various roles, including workplace coach, environment deputy lead, and charity and community champion. Prior to this, Tim Hyde held steward positions at P and O Ferries from April 1987 to April 1988 and at F T Everard and Sons Shipping from June 1981 to January 1987. Tim Hyde's educational background includes a Level 2 degree in Environmental Science from Royal Mail's New Ground Consultancy program in 2014 and certifications in swim coaching, teaching, and swimmer development from The King's School in Canterbury in 2008. Additionally, Tim Hyde completed training at the National Sea Training College in 1981, earning qualifications in lifeboat operation, firefighting, and food hygiene. Tim Hyde's foundational education was completed at Wyndgate Comprehensive from 1977 to 1981.
