Edward Chweya

Edward Chweya is a seasoned digital producer and reporter with extensive experience in media and communication. Currently serving as a Digital Producer at Citizen Digital since January 2022, Edward has also been a reporter and show host for CITIZEN TV since February 2018, overseeing programs such as #MadeinKenya and #BusinessNow. In addition to roles at Uppercut Consultancy as a voice over and social media consultant, and as a Digital Reporter for Royal Media Services, Edward has a strong background in content creation and digital strategies. Previously, Edward held the position of Senior Editor and Social Media Coordinator at Genesis Tech, where notable achievements included being awarded Employee of the Year in 2017. Edward's career began as an Entertainment Editor at Ghafla! Kenya, demonstrating versatility in various media domains. Edward holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics, Media, and Communication from Moi University.
