Cristina Charlton-Perez

Cristina Charlton-Perez has worked as a Co Editor in Chief for the Royal Meteorological Society (RMetS) since April 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Scientist for the UK Met Office starting in June 2008.

Cristina Charlton-Perez holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Applied Mathematics, which they obtained from the University of Colorado Boulder from 1998 to 2003. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Mathematics from the same university, completing it from 1996 to 1998. Cristina began their academic journey by pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied from 1990 to 1994.
