The Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium offer 6 Museums with over 20.000 paintings, drawings and sculptures ranging from the 15th to the 21st Century. Discover Belgium’s art treasures which yearly attract over 600,000 people from all over the world! 

Set in a large and prestigious neo-classical building in the heart of Brussels, the Royal Museums of Fine Arts gather world class collections:

- With 230 art works and archive documents, the Magritte Museum features the world’s largest collection of this Belgian artist’s oeuvre. Immerse yourself in the surrealist universe of René Magritte, walking alongside his paintings, gouaches, drawings, sculptures, painted objects, but also his advertising posters, musical scores, photographs and films.
- The Old Masters Museum showcases the second largest collection in the world of Pieter Bruegel! Discover the marvelous works of Peter Paul Rubens next to other masterpieces from the former Southern Netherlands and the Flemish, French and Italian schools. Bosch, Memling, van Dyck, Jordaens, van der Weyden and many others are awaiting your visit.
- The Fin-de-Siècle Museum highlights Brussels in its glory as artistic capital during the 1900s. Literature, opera, music, architecture, photography and poetry: all creative fields are represented. It is definitely a must-see for all lovers of Art Nouveau!
- The Modern Museum offers a rotating selection of Modern and Contemporary art starting from Jacques-Louis David’s “Death of Marat” to present day acclaimed artworks.

On top of these 4 museums located in the city centre, you can visit the home-studios of Antoine Wiertz and Constantin Meunier for free during the week. Explore the universe that inspired these Belgian painters and sculptors to create their impressive works.
