Chen Shen

Co-Chief Curator, Art & Culture at Royal Ontario Museum

Chen Shen has extensive experience in the field of art and culture, working at the Royal Ontario Museum since April 1997 in various roles such as Co-Chief Curator, Senior Curator, and Vice President. Simultaneously, Chen holds a status-only professor position in the East Asian Studies Department at the University of Toronto where Chen teaches popular courses related to ancient China. Prior to this, Shen worked as an Assistant Professor at Wuhan University, specializing in Near East Archaeology and prehistoric archaeology. Chen holds a PhD in Anthropological Archaeology from the University of Toronto and has a Master's degree from the University of Tulsa. Shen completed their Bachelor's degree in Archaeology from Wuhan University.
