Joe Aschaiek

Joe Aschaiek, CPA, CA, currently serves as the Deputy Director and Chief Financial Officer at the Royal Ontario Museum since March 2024. Previously, Joe was the Chief Financial Officer at Woodbine Entertainment from 2016 to 2023 and held various financial leadership roles within the same organization from 2003 to 2015. Joe also contributed to Habitat for Humanity GTA as a Board Member and Chairman of the Finance, Audit, and Risk Management Committee from 2019 to 2021 and was a member of the Finance Committee at William Osler Health System from 2010 to 2018. Joe began his career in audit and assurance services at Mintz & Partners LLP and Richter. Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from York University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant certified by CPA Canada.
