Emma Southworth

Emma Southworth is a seasoned creative producer currently serving at The Royal Ballet since June 2013. Prior experience includes the role of Deputy Director for Theatre & Artist Development at The Place from June 2008 to June 2013, and various positions at DanceXchange, where responsibilities encompassed producing the International Dance Festival Birmingham and serving as Programme Manager from July 2001 to June 2008. Emma began their career as a Marketing Assistant at Birmingham Arts Marketing, a position held from January 1998 to June 2001. Academically, Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from The University of Sheffield, completed from 1993 to 1996, and attended King Edward VI High School in Birmingham from 1986 to 1993.
