Kate Matthews

Kate Matthews is an experienced professional currently serving as an Associate Product Manager at the Royal Opera House since February 2023. Prior to this role, Kate was a Primary Teacher at East Sussex County Council for nearly eight years, where responsibilities included Music Lead, History Lead, Geography Lead, and Environmental Coordinator. Kate has a diverse background in the arts, having worked as a Social Media Manager, Project Manager, and Outreach Coordinator at The National Youth Ballet of Great Britain from July 2012 to August 2016. Additional experience includes retail positions at L’OCCITANE Group and Fat Face, as well as project management at The State of the Arts (UK). Kate holds a Qualified Teaching Status from East Sussex SCITT and a BA in Music Production from Leeds Conservatoire.
