Leila Ransley

Assistant Manager at Royal Opera House

Leila Ransley has extensive experience in costume management and education within the performing arts sector. Currently serving as Assistant Manager and Costume Manager at the Royal Opera House since November 2018, Ransley oversees all costume activities for dance and opera performances at the Linbury Theatre and off-site events. Previous roles include Associate Tutor of Costume at Guilford School of Acting, where Ransley significantly increased student interest in Scenography, and Costume Manager at Sadler's Wells and Akram Khan Dance Company, managing costumes for international productions. Additionally, Ransley has freelance experience in costume and textile prop making and has contributed to various events and workshops, including a collaboration with the British Council. Educational qualifications include studies at Birkbeck, London Metropolitan University, and City, University of London.
