Gaurav D Tripathi has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, starting in 2008 as a Food & Beverage Executive at Menzies Group of Hotel. Gaurav D then worked at Norton House Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh, UK, from 2009 to 2011, where they served as an Assistant Restaurant Manager and successfully increased business and profitability.
In 2013, Tripathi joined Royal Orchid Central Grazia as a Senior Sales Executive, where they focused on maximizing revenues, building a guest database, and maintaining competitive market information. Gaurav D then moved to The Park in 2014 as an Assistant Sales Manager, where they contributed to business growth through effective marketing strategies and filling RFPs.
Tripathi continued their career at Ibis Hotel Navi Mumbai in 2015 as an Assistant Sales Manager, followed by a role as Head of Sales & Revenue at Hotel Tunga Regency Private Limited, where they held responsibility for sales and revenue management from 2015 to 2020.
Currently, Tripathi holds the position of Associate Director Sales & Revenue at Royal Orchid Hotels, starting in 2020, and was recently promoted to Director of Sales & Revenue in July 2022.
Gaurav D Tripathi holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Heriot-Watt University, which they earned in 2012. In 2008, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Queen Margaret University. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from ITM in 2007. Gaurav also attended Tilak College Of Science and Commerce, Vashi, Navi Mumbai in 2004, although the degree obtained is unspecified. Their secondary education was completed at PPL Education Society(CBSE), CBD, Navi Mumbai in 2002, where they attained a High School diploma in CBSE (10th STD).
