Professor Neil Gittoes

Professor Neil Gittoes currently serves as the Chair of the West Midlands Clinical Senate and the Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Royal Osteoporosis Society. With extensive experience in clinical leadership, Professor Gittoes holds multiple roles, including Chair of the Specialised Endocrinology Clinical Reference Group for NHS England, Medical Vice Chair of the West Midlands Subcommittee for the Advisory Committee on Clinical Impact Awards, and Head of the Centre for Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at the University of Birmingham. Additionally, Professor Gittoes is a Consultant Endocrinologist at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and associated institutions. Academic credentials include a PhD in Molecular Endocrinology and an FRCP from the Royal College of Physicians UK.
