Frances Axford

Frances Axford Evans is an accomplished Concerts Director at the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra since August 2016, responsible for the operational management of the Orchestra and Concerts department. Previously, Frances served as Concerts Manager at the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, overseeing the planning and delivery of concerts across the UK, including a notable engagement for the King and Queen's Coronation in May 2023. Additional experience includes roles such as House Manager at Wigmore Hall Trust, Concerts Manager at Sage Gateshead, Concerts Coordinator at the London Symphony Orchestra, and Sales & Service Agent at Town Hall and Symphony Hall Birmingham. Frances holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from the University of Birmingham.
