Effandy Kumess has over two decades of experience in sales and management within the hospitality industry, currently serving as the Director of Sales at Royal Plaza on Scotts since April 2000. Responsibilities include overseeing departmental functions, strategic planning for new markets, maximizing sales potential, managing relationships with corporate clients and Global Sales Offices, and leading a sales team of 15 staff members. Previous roles include Associate Director of Sales and Senior Sales Manager at Royal Plaza on Scotts, as well as Sales Manager positions at The Carlton Hotel and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. Effandy Kumess holds educational qualifications from the Marketing Institute of Singapore and Bedok Vocational Institution.
