Donna Desbiens

Donna DesBiens is an experienced Learning Designer currently managing program mapping and course design projects at Royal Roads University since October 2016. Notable roles include consulting on the interculturalization of micro-courses for the OERu and teaching employability skills to students with cognitive disabilities at Thompson Rivers University. With a background in instructional design across multiple educational institutions, including SAIT and the University of Calgary, Donna has expertise in course development, collaborative project management, and research in adult education. Donna holds an M.A. in Education Research from the University of Calgary and a B.A. in Psychology from Simon Fraser University.
