John Goranson

John Goranson is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in learning and development, particularly in higher education and international training. Currently serving as a Learning & Development Facilitator and Instructor at Royal Roads University since September 2015, John focuses on enhancing admissions and student success through academic, language, and communication skills training for a diverse student body. Prior to this, John held the position of Assistant Professor at Korea University, where a Ph.D. was attained. Other significant roles include coaching senior staff at The Bank of Korea, developing curriculum for the Korea National Diplomatic Academy, and consulting on international business language training with Global Training & Development. John has also taught at various universities, including a visiting professor role at Korea University and an instructor position at Sogang University. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Journalism from Western University.
