Shelley Jones

Shelley Jones serves as a Professor and Head of Undergraduate Programs in the College of Interdisciplinary Studies at Royal Roads University since September 2015, focusing on the Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and the International Year One program. Prior to this, Shelley held the position of Associate Professor in Gender, Equity and Inclusion at Aga Khan University from August 2013 to August 2015 and served as an Assistant Professor at SUNY Potsdam from August 2009 to August 2013. Shelley's academic experience includes teaching online courses at The University of British Columbia between 2007 and June 2013, particularly in Education and International Development and Global Citizenship. Additionally, Shelley was the Director of Research and Education at YouLead from January 2002 to January 2008, where responsibilities included managing various educational programs, developing curricular materials, and conducting workshops. Shelley Jones earned a PhD in Education: Language and Literacy from The University of British Columbia between 2003 and 2008.
