Michael Barnes

Michael Barnes, MPAS, PA-C, currently serves as a Cardiothoracic Surgery PA and Independent Contractor at Inova Schar Heart and Vascular and Royal Surgical Associates since January 2024. Prior experience includes roles as an Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery PA at UW Health from May 2019 to January 2024, and Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant positions at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, and Children's Hospital of Michigan between 2007 and 2019. Michael Barnes completed a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Marquette University (2004-2007) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan (1993-1997).
