Royal Swinkels
Oscar van der Vaart currently serves as the Head of Program & Project Management at Royal Swinkels since March 2024. Previously, Oscar held the position of Program Director for Global Transformation & Integration at Arcadis from November 2009 to February 2024, where responsibilities included reshaping the operating model into four Global Business Areas to better address client needs. Oscar's earlier roles included Business Process Manager and Senior Program & Project Manager at Arcadis, as well as conducting independent graduation research at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven and completing a graduation project with DHV on floodwall analysis post-Hurricane Katrina. Oscar began the professional journey as a trainee at Heijmans. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Construction Management & Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Avans University of Applied Sciences.
