David Burch

David Burch currently serves as the Head of Finance and Operations at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries since September 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing the education and regulation of actuaries in the UK and internationally. In addition to this role, David is actively involved in various organizations, including serving as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at the Royal Town Planning Institute and as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee at the Royal Society of Chemistry. David is also an Executive Trustee for the IFoA Foundation and a Director at ICA 98 Limited. Previous experience includes roles such as Finance Director for Bluebell Railway PLC, Director of Finance and Corporate Services at the National Childminding Association, and interim financial positions at Audio Partnership plc and West Ferry Printers Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Higher National Diploma in Business Studies from Birmingham City University and professional accountancy training with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
