Jane Healey Brown is an accomplished leader in urban planning and policy, currently serving as the Arup Manchester Officer Leader, overseeing 500 staff in Manchester. With extensive experience at Arup, including roles as the Global Town Planning and Policy Skills Leader and Director for Town Planning in North West and Yorkshire, Jane actively shapes the future of sustainable development and social equity. Additionally, Jane holds several influential positions, such as Board Member of the Northern Powerhouse Partnership and Non-Executive Director at Irwell Valley Homes. As a Visiting Professor at the University of Liverpool and a Fellow of the Royal Town Planning Institute, Jane contributes to academia and professional development in the field. Jane's educational background includes a BA in Geography from the University of Oxford, an MA in Town and Regional Planning from the University of Sheffield, and a Master's Module from Boston University.
