Mike Higgins is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in arboriculture and environmental planning. Currently serving as a TMLI Assessor and Technician Member at the Landscape Institute since July 2022, Mike is also a committee member for the Wales Branch and actively mentors new members. Mike holds various prestigious memberships, including Fellow of the Arboricultural Association and Chartered Environmentalist with the Society for the Environment. Additionally, Mike is a Principal Planning Officer at Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, providing expert advice on tree preservation and planning applications, while also consulting for Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority and recently for Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council. With a BSc in Geology from the University of Bedfordshire and an HNC in Habitat Surveying, Mike is recognized for contributions to both the industry and environmental sustainability.
