Mo Amjar

Mo Amjar, PhD, currently serves as a Principal Planning and Visualisation Consultant and Deputy Cities Practice Lead for the Integrated Transport Division at Mott MacDonald, a position held since October 2021. With extensive experience in urban design and community engagement, Mo has held various roles, including Urban Designer/Principal Consultant at SYSTRA Ltd and Senior Urban & Architectural Designer at Consultative and Engineering Office. As a volunteer with the Royal Town Planning Institute's Planning Aid England and PAS, Mo contributes to community placemaking and engagement initiatives. Mo's educational background includes a PhD in Placemaking and a Master of Research in Urban Studies from Heriot-Watt University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Tishreen University.
