Nicola Orr

Steering Group Member - Scottish Young Planners Network at Royal Town Planning Institute

Nicola Orr is an experienced planning officer currently working with the City of Edinburgh Council as a Planning Officer in Majors West since August 2017. Nicola has been a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) since May 2013 and serves on the Steering Group for the Scottish Young Planners Network. Previous positions include Planning Officer at Perth & Kinross Council and Planning Project Officer at the Improvement Service, along with roles as Policy Planner at Aberdeenshire Council and Administrator/PA at Highland Cattle Society. Nicola became a Chartered Member of RTPI in June 2015 and holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Urban and Regional Planning from Heriot-Watt University, as well as a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Strathclyde.
