Prof. (Dr.) Samer Bagaeen FRICS MRTPI FRGS is a distinguished academic and professional in town planning and stakeholder capability, currently serving as Technical Director at Arcadis and as a Visiting Professor at Imperial College London. With extensive experience in public policy and stakeholder engagement, Bagaeen is also an Advisory Board Member at Creative Estuary and holds multiple roles within the Royal Town Planning Institute, including Chair of the International Committee and Chair of various committees. Bagaeen has been involved with Brighton & Hove City Council as an independent member, focusing on public health and climate change policy, and actively participates in initiatives aimed at futureproofing the Greater Brighton area. Educational qualifications include a PhD in City/Urban Planning from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, alongside various advanced degrees in architecture and management from prestigious institutions.
