Christopher Peters

Christopher Peters has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2022, they work as the Director of Quality Improvement and Project Management at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. Prior to this, they held multiple positions at the same company, including Project Director and Project Manager, where they successfully completed complex projects and implemented the newest version of MEDITECH.

Before their time at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Christopher worked at General Electric from 2002 to 2008. Christopher served as a Lean Leader & Six Sigma Black Belt and spearheaded lean six sigma initiatives, leading to significant annual savings. Christopher also worked as a Process Improvement Engineer, implementing management tools that resulted in $1.3M in annual benefits. Additionally, they worked as a Design Engineer during their early years at General Electric.

Christopher Peters has a Bachelor of Applied Sciences degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Management Sciences option from the University of Waterloo, obtained between 1997 and 2002. In addition to their degrees, Christopher has obtained several certifications including a Change Management Practitioner certification from APMG International in 2019, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2010, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from GE in 2009, and a Professional Engineer certification from Professional Engineers Ontario in 2009.
