Danial Schecter

Danial Schecter serves as the Associate Director of Clinical Education at Santé Cannabis since October 2020, where leadership is provided in developing clinical education programs for Canadian and International communities. As the Founder and Staff Physician at Canabo Medical Clinic since July 2014, Danial opened Ontario's first referral-only clinic for patients under the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations. Additional experience includes positions as the Principal Owner of Georgian Bay House Calls, a Hospitalist at Royal Victoria Hospital, and a Physician at Cadence Health Centre and Chigamik Community Health Centre. Danial also held roles as Director of Global Medical Services at Canopy Growth Corporation and Chief Medical Advisor at AusCann. Medical training was completed as a Resident in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto from 2008 to 2011, with prior education at Université de Montréal.
