Sean McConnachie, MPA-PP, has a diverse range of work experience in decision support, management, and consulting roles. Sean has most recently worked as the Regional Decision Support Lead at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. Prior to that, they served as the General Manager of The Waterside Clinic, where they oversaw operational aspects and provided specialty medical care to patients. Sean has also held roles at United Way Simcoe Muskoka, C+S Consulting, Barrie & Community Family Health Team, North Simcoe Muskoka Local Health Integration Network, Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (as a Decision Support Analyst), Ontario Ministry of Finance, Government of Saskatchewan, and Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada, where they gained experience in performance measurement and management, privacy, quality improvement, financial analysis, research, and project leadership. Overall, Sean's work experience demonstrates their expertise in decision support, healthcare management, data analysis, and strategic planning.

Sean McConnachie, MPA-PP, earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Economics and Public Finance from the University of Regina in 2010. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Bishop's University, graduating with a BA in Political Science in 2007. In 2015, Sean began the CPA Prerequisite Education Program (CPA PREP) in Accounting and Business/Management through the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. In addition to their formal education, Sean has obtained several certifications such as OMVIC Certification, Idea to Proposal from the University of Toronto, TCPS 2: Core from the Panel on Research Ethics of the Government of Canada, Privacy Officer Training from DDO Health Law, Logic Modelling from the Canadian Evaluation Society, Management Information System (MIS) Level 1 from the Ontario Hospital Association, President's Leadership Program from the University of Regina, and Public Policy Implementation from the Manning Centre for Building Democracy.
