Fiona is currently the Director of Emergency Department Operations & Deferred Care at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. Previously, Fiona has worked at The Royal Children's Hospital for several years, where they held roles such as Director of Ambulatory Services, Rehabilitation Development Project Officer, Rehabilitation Nurse Coordinator, Care Manager/Associate Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Registered Nurse, and Graduate Nurse. Fiona'sresponsibilities have included overseeing the operation and financial management of various services, coordinating the delivery of rehabilitation services, and implementing improvements in service delivery and models of care. Fiona has also gained experience in executive decision-making, incident management, and nursing services.
Fiona Moran (nee Gorrie) has a comprehensive education history in nursing. In 1989, they attended Ballarat University College in Victoria, Australia, where they pursued and completed a Diploma of Applied Science in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, graduating in 1991. Fiona then attended La Trobe University in 1995 and obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Moving forward with their education, Fiona enrolled at the University of Adelaide in 2005 and completed a Graduate Diploma in Nursing Science with a specialization in Burns Nursing.
