Martin Memory

Martin Memory has extensive experience in management and education, currently serving as Manager and Expedition Supervisor for the Duke Of Edinburgh Award Scheme since July 2018. Concurrently, Martin holds positions as Curriculum Coordinator and Advanced Practitioner at Suffolk New College, focusing on coaching teachers and delivering lessons in public services. With a longstanding role as an RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor since April 2005, Martin organizes sailing activities for youth groups. Previous experience includes serving as Acting Police Inspector at Suffolk Constabulary, where responsibilities encompassed supervisory management, welfare, and incident management. Martin’s early career as a Petty Officer in the Royal Navy involved leadership and planning on a warship. Martin's educational background includes a Certificate of Education in Teacher Training from University Campus Suffolk and ongoing training with F1 Training City and Guilds.
