Nick Mayes

Nick Mayes possesses extensive leadership experience in the IT and business transformation sectors, having served as CIO at Pendragon PLC from November 2019 to March 2024, where Nick oversaw operations for one of the UK’s largest motor retailers. Prior roles include Interim Director of Business Transformation at Cambridge & Counties Bank, and CIO at Gala Leisure Limited, where Nick led a major change program to rebrand the business as Buzz Bingo. Additional experience includes significant roles at TUI Group, Gala Coral Group, Luminar PLC, and IEP, as well as a background in the Royal Air Force, where Nick was involved in critical operations and communications technology deployments. Education includes Director Development from the Institute of Directors and military training from the Royal Air Force.
