Nick Scott

Nick Scott is an experienced sports performance leader currently serving as Director of Racing for the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and a Board Member at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy since October 2022. Previously, during a seven-year tenure at the English Institute of Sport, Nick held various roles, including Head of Performance Support for British Rowing and Triathlon, where responsibilities included supporting Olympic and Paralympic athletes preparing for Tokyo. Additional roles include Performance Lodge Sport Manager for the British Olympic Association and Interim Director of Triathlon for the British Triathlon Federation, focusing on creating a leading triathlon environment. Nick also has experience as Performance Manager at RYA Scotland, where a sailing performance programme for young athletes was developed, alongside interim CEO responsibilities, and has participated in event management and coaching at various levels since 2001. Nick Scott holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Bristol.
