Tom Davenport

Tom Davenport is a skilled professional with extensive experience in community development and sports engagement. Currently serving as Funding Support Officer at the Royal Yachting Association since October 2013, Tom helps clubs and centers access funding to increase participation in water activities. Previously, Tom held positions as Sailing Development Officer and Dinghy Trainer at the RYA, focusing on enhancing sailing participation and training new instructors. From March 2021 to August 2023, Tom was Operations Manager at Arukah Network, where responsibilities included overseeing support operations, compliance, and fundraising. Additionally, Tom worked as a Community Worker at Lansdowne Church from September 2014 to February 2021, fostering local community support. Tom holds a Master of Research in Sports and Exercise and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Science from the University of Gloucestershire.
