Shariq Zafar (ACA, ACCA, BSc in Applied Accounting)

Shariq Zafar has a wide range of experience in finance and accounting roles. Starting in 2012, they interned at A.F. Ferguson & Co., where they gained experience in tax return preparation. Shariq then moved on to Pakistan State Oil, where they worked as a Finance Trainee Officer, managing customer databases and pricing of petroleum products. In 2014, Shariq joined K-Electric as an Assistant Manager, responsible for cash management, short-term and long-term financing, and daily cash collections reporting. Shariq later became a Finance Professional in Corporate Finance at K-Electric, managing up to PKR 100 Billion in financing and continuing to handle cash management. In 2018, Shariq joined Arthur Lawrence as Manager in Corporate Finance and Financial Reporting, where they reported to the Board of Directors and managed fund management and payment disbursements. Currently, they are with Royal Cyber Inc. as Head of Business Finance, where they monitor and analyzes the progress and profitability of the Trading Business, conducts revenue forecasting and profitability analysis, and identifies variances. Shariq holds an ACA and ACCA qualification and a BSc in Applied Accounting.
