David Sobel has a diverse work experience in program management and development for various government and defense organizations. David began their career in 2001, working as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Program Manager for different DoD customers, focusing on building capabilities using Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies. David then joined Maxar Technologies in 2014 as a Program Manager, leading advanced capability development for high-resolution satellite assets and ground systems for various intelligence community (IC) customers. David successfully completed multiple projects, including Enhanced View RFCs and the Global Enhanced GEOINT Delivery (G-EGD) program. Additionally, they played a crucial role in the launch of WorldView-4, leading the development and implementation of a new image ordering system. After their time at Maxar, David worked as a Program Manager at CTI from 2019 to 2020, and at ManTech from 2020 to 2022. At ManTech, they served as a Program Manager for the Defensive Cyberspace Operations - Space (DCO-S) program, supporting the United States Space Force (USSF).
