Roze Room Hospice
Barbara Blake is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as a Registered Nurse at Hospice of Grace since March 2022 and at Roze Room Hospice since February 2017. Barbara has a strong background in hospice care, having retired as a hospice RN after a long tenure. Additional experience includes serving as a Commissioner for the California Apprenticeship Council from October 2012 to 2018, appointed by Governor Brown, and acting as Executive Director for Labor United for Universal Healthcare from September 2013 to April 2015. Barbara held the position of State Secretary/Treasurer at UNAC/UHCP from July 1986 to December 2012. Educational achievements include a certificate in Labor and Industrial Relations from the Harvard Trade Union Program in 1993 and a Diploma of Nursing from the California Hospital School of Nursing, completed in 1977.

Our team is a close-knit group of caring professionals consisting of physicians, nurses, social workers, spiritual counselors, specialized therapists, home health aides and dedicated volunteers. The founder of Roze Room Hospice and her commitment to create a team of knowledgeable and compassionate professionals is the basis for all care provided to our patients and families.
