Miriam Hendeles

Music Therapist at Roze Room Hospice

Miriam Hendeles is an accomplished freelance writer and music therapist with extensive experience in both fields. Since May 2009, Miriam has contributed human interest articles and personal essays to Binah Magazine, a women's weekly publication. In the realm of music therapy, Miriam has been actively serving patients at Roze Room Hospice since December 2007, focusing on end-of-life care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Previous roles include high school teacher at Bais Yaakov Los Angeles, where Miriam taught literature to 10th and 11th grade students, and various music therapy positions providing targeted services for children and adolescents with special needs. Miriam holds an MA in Special Education from California State University, Northridge, as well as a BA in Music Therapy from the same institution, complemented by an earlier degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Brooklyn College.
