Subodh Gupta

Subodh Gupta has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several prestigious organizations. Subodh started their career as a Management Trainee at Reliance Industries Limited in 1999, where they worked on a financial viability project for a port. In 2000, they joined McKinsey & Co as a Senior Research Analyst before moving on to Rothschild, where they held various positions including Associate, Assistant Manager, Manager, and Assistant Director.

Subodh then worked at Avista Houlihan Lokey as a Director from 2014 to 2016. Subodh continued their career at Edelweiss Financial Services Limited from 2016 to 2023, where they served as the Managing Director and Head of Consumer and Healthcare, as well as the Head of M&A. Subodh also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Edelweiss Gallagher Insurance Brokers Ltd. from 2020 to 2021.

In 2023, they joined the Nuvama Group as the Managing Director of Investment Banking, overseeing the Consumer & Healthcare division as well as the M&A division. Subodh is currently working as the Executive Director of Growth and Investments at RP Sanjiv Goenka Group.

Subodh Gupta holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. Subodh then went on to complete an MBA in Finance from International Management Institute - IMI from 1998 to 2000. In 2004, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter from CFA Institute.
