Hamid Sakhi is an experienced Senior Database Administrator with a strong background in SQL Server management and clustering. Since February 2014, Hamid has been working at RPC- Law Firm, specializing in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) and configuring mission-critical MS SQL Active/Active and Active/Passive clusters. Prior to this, from November 2006 to January 2014, Hamid served as a Senior SQL Database Administrator at Arup, where responsibilities included setting up and configuring various versions of MS SQL Server and managing SQL Server clustering. Earlier experience includes a role as SQL Database Administrator at Teletext Ltd, where Hamid worked with MS SQL Server 6.5 and 7. Hamid holds a Master’s degree in Building Services Engineering from London South Bank University, completed between 1994 and 1997.
