John Black

John Black is an accomplished audit professional with extensive experience in the accounting and finance sector. Currently serving as Audit Partner and Head of Natural Resources and Energy at RPG Crouch Chapman LLP since September 2025, John oversees a diverse portfolio of clients primarily listed in capital markets and leads the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS. Previously, John held the position of RI Director at BDO UK from January 2022 to August 2025 and worked at PKF Littlejohn in various roles, including Director and Audit Manager, from September 2015 to January 2022. Earlier experience includes an Assistant Manager role at Deloitte France, specializing in UK subsidiaries of overseas companies, and a Senior Accounting and Advisory position at Vantis plc. John is ACA qualified and earned an AAT qualification, demonstrating a strong educational foundation in accounting and finance.
