Cate Cassarchis

Cate Cassarchis MFIA GAICD is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in healthcare, research, and archiving. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of the RPH Research Foundation since November 2021, Cate previously held the CEO position at the Perth Blood Institute, where focus was on haematology research and patient access to clinical trials. Cate's prior roles include State Archivist & Executive Director at the State Records Office of Western Australia and Director at the Foundation for the WA Museum. With a background that also includes positions at The National Archives in the UK and the National Council On Archives, Cate has demonstrated strong leadership in fundraising and public affairs, underpinned by a solid educational foundation from the University of Cape Town and Birkbeck, University of London, as well as further qualifications from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
