Darren Sodder

Darren Sodder is an experienced mining professional currently serving as the Customer Success Manager for North America at RPMGlobal since September 2025. Prior to this, Darren worked at Teck Resources Limited from April 2022 to September 2025, holding various roles including Supervisor of Mine Planning/Mine Design and Geology Systems, where responsibilities included managing a multi-million dollar budget and overseeing engineering systems for multiple global mining operations. Experience at Imperial Oil spanned from January 2016 to March 2022, with significant contributions as a Strategic Planner for mine development and as a Shift Production Optimization Engineer, where Darren's initiatives led to substantial cost savings and performance improvements. Earlier roles included short-range and mid-range mine planning positions, along with internships at Shell. Darren holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from The University of British Columbia and has furthered education at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies.
